Welcome to Hedger’s Almshouses
Hedger's Almshouses is a charity offering affordable bungalows to older
single women who are still able to live independently.
Facilities:
8 bungalows, purpose built in 1965.
Each bungalow features a wet room and community alarm service.
There is a resident warden who is available part time as a volunteer.
The peaceful and spacious gardens are regularly maintained.
We are a short walk to the shops in Merrow.
Guildford town centre is 2 miles away and accessible by bus.
We are regulated by the Charity Commission
and are members of the Almshouses Association.
