Hedger’s Almshouses is a not-for-profit charity. We do not receive any state funding and are run by volunteers so all donations go directly to maintain the almshouses for our current residents and future generations. Your donation will be used to help maintain and improve the properties and grounds for the benefit of Hedger’s residents.

We are truly grateful for all gifts, no matter what their size.

How to Donate

If you would like to donate to support Hedger’s Almshouses either as a one-off payment or as a regular donation this can be done by contacting Mrs Susan Martineau at susanmart953@gmail.com or 07813 311941.

Alternatively, gifts can also be made by cheque in the name of “Hedger’s Almshouses” and posted to
Mrs Susan Martineau, Clerk to Trustees, Manor Lodge, The Street, Walberton, Arundel, BN18 0PJ.

You can also remember Hedger’s Almshouses in your will. By making a bequest you can help continue the work
that was started by James Hedger and his sons over 225 years ago.
